Ocala, Florida- June 14th, 2011 Sun Digital Sets Goal To Recycle 5 Tons Of Electronics In 2011 OCALA, FLORIDA- June 14, 2011- Sun Digital, Inc. has set an electronics recycling goal of 5 tons for 2011 by hosting electronic recycling charity events held in downtown Ocala, Florida. In 2011 Sun Digital, has already helped recycle 2 tons of retired electronics, with a total of 3 tons being recycled from beginning of the eRecycle campaign which started in December 2010.
On June 22nd, Sun Digital plans to heat up their recycling efforts in Marion County by holding their 4th electronics recycling summer charity drive, this time to benefit Marion Senior Services of Ocala, Florida. “Despite the EPA’s 2009 report stating that nationally 82% of retired electronics still end up in landfills and incinerators, we believe we can do better than that in Marion County. This is what led us to setting the 5 Ton electronics recycling goal for 2011.
