Recycle All Electronics

 
Recycle All Electronics has partnered with Sun Digital as the official eWaste recycler, taking responsible recycling to a new level in Central Florida. Recycle All Electronics (RAE) is HIPPA certified, EPA registered and in the process of securing AAA NAID, R2 and ISO14001 certifications. RAE is also the official electronic waste recycling center for Marion County and City of Ocala.  RAE and Sun Digital will be hosting joint eRecycling charity events quarterly, as well as providing a drop off location for those who want to donate the electronics to the featured Sun Digital charity partner. 

  

Habitat For Humanity of Marion County, Inc. (HFHMC)

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Inc. (HFHMC) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.  As one of over 1700 affiliates, HFHMC is working to eliminate poverty housing from our community in the 21st century.  By providing a positive partnership with low income families in need, HFHMC can assist in providing tools for a better future for both the families and our community of Marion County.

  

Brother's Keeper

Sun Digital and Brothers Keeper have joined causes to help the environment and the homeless in Marion County. For the October 19th we will be combining a food donation drive along with the eRecycle drive. Brother’s Keeper, is a social outreach ministry of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church who helps the needy and homeless since 1970 with emergency assistance and a daily soup kitchen. Brothers Keeper is in need of the following items: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Tuna Helper, Hamburger Helper, Macaroni & Cheese, Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti Noodles, and Cereal. However, all canned and dry good items are humbly accepted. 

  

Marion Senior Services

Marion Senior Services is a non profit, charitable social agency providing supportive care services to elderly, disabled and disadvantaged residents of Marion County, Florida.  We help our clients to remain living in their own homes independently as long as possible by providing Meals, Transit and In-Home Support services to them.  A variety of public, private and donor funding enables us to provide services to most people in need, regardless of their ability to pay.  Marion Senior Services also depends on over 300 volunteers to help us deliver Meals on Wheels, provide Respite Care or companionship for our clients. Early Learning Coalition Of Marion County

Sun Digital Community Partner Early Learning Coalition of Marion County

The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County is pleased to partner with Sun Digital for their March 2011 Electronics Recycling fundraiser!  The Coalition provides services to families, children and child care businesses in Marion County.  By linking families to child care and early learning services, the Coalition supports parents’ ability to work and helps prepare children for success in school.

All Sun Digital proceeds from this event will go towards the Coalition’s community match fund.  Each year the Coalition must acquire a 6% local cash match (which equates to approximately $300,000 a year) to utilize our allocation from the state for providing financial assistance for child care to eligible, low-income, working families.

  

United Way of Marion County

Sun Digital Partner United Way of Marion County

Sun Digital has partnered with the United Way of Marion County to raise money for the Community Care fund. The Community Care Fund provides the much needed funding for a variety of local non-profits that provide services to individuals in Marion County. Sun Digital is donating 100% of the proceeds generated from the eRecycling drives to the United Way of Marion County.  Learn how you can help the Florida environment by recycling electronics/computers and eRecycling drive details in the Events section of the Sun Digital website.

  

Ocala Downtown Business Alliance - DBA

When Ocala's DBA asked for Sun Digital help with the setting up and streaming live video of Ocala's downtown holiday Ferris wheel, we were happy to help! Sun Digital partnered with DBA, donating the equipment, wireless internet, data streaming and time. We wanted Ocala's Holiday Ferris wheel riders to be able share their memorable holiday experience their friends and family!

  

Ocala Electric Utility

When Sun Digital asked the Ocala Electric Utility to help with the Ocala holiday Ferris wheel they jumped into action. OEU quickly posted the live web cam link on the OEU guest and the Light Up Ocala Guest launch pages. OEU offers free Wi-Fi to the patrons of Ocala's downtown businesses.

Electronics Recycling Charity Drive (eRecycling)

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 from 7:00am-1:30pm- In the Concord Building parking lot, downtown Ocala across from the Historic Ocala Mural.  This Electronics Recycling event will be to raise money for a local charity. This event will be to benefit Habitat For Humanity of Marion County, Inc.

Sun Digital is committed to helping the Ocala, Gainesville, and Central Florida community in keeping old computer equipment out of our local landfills. Our regularly scheduled eRecycling drives allow our community members to drop off old electronic equipment and contribute to one of our local charity partners. All Sun Digital profits earned from eRecycling drives are donated. Free up space in your home, business AND help our local Marion County community by recycling old electronic equipment.
